LONG BRANCH, NJ- Each of the carefully crafted beers will encompass specialty coffee or chocolate elements to create savory selections that are unique to The Whitechapel Projects! The coffee and chocolate brews are currently in the fermenters; we can’t wait to share our tasting notes once they are complete!
James, the Booskerdoo founder, and Mike, the head roaster, are contributing their fresh, organic or ethically farmed, coffee elements to our nano-brew process. With three locations in Monmouth County, that are just a short distance from The Whitechapel Projects, we are proud to partner with a micro-roaster like Booskerdoo, who is dedicated to providing customers with high-quality, sustainable and socially responsible coffee products.
With a retail location in Manasquan, New Jersey, and more than 10 locations around the world, Alison Nelson of the Chocolate Bar, will be contributing her award-winning, gourmet chocolate creations to the brew process. Chocolate Bar, also known as the candy store for grown ups, has received several awards including: “Best New York Chocolate Store” by Time Out New York at their annual Eat Out Awards in 2007. The New York Daily News named Chocolate Bar “Best Holiday Sampler,” Wallpaper Magazine bestowed its “Favorite Stores Around The World” distinction upon it and Inc. Magazine proclaimed it was one of the “Fastest Growing Private Company’s in America.” Alison’s book “Chocolate Bar: Recipes and Entertaining Ideas for Living the Sweet Life” won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award.
We are very excited to be partnering with experienced and creative artisans like Booskerdoo and the Chocolate Bar. Their exceptionally crafted products will be featured in various nano-brews at The Whitechapel Projects and contribute to the collaborative nature of our venue!
